How to Stop a Dog From Chewing
Pet owners often complain that when they come home, they find that their dog has been chewing on everything and obviously they want to know how to stop a dog from chewing.
First, there is no point in getting mad at your dog, the damage is already done and he will have no idea what you are angry about. What you have to do is realize why your dog is chewing. Chances are he is bored. There are a few things that you can try that will help alleviate his boredom. First be sure that he has plenty of things available that he can chew and play with. You can also try leaving a radio or the television on, if you have to be away. Dogs often find the noise comforting. If possible you might even consider having someone come in and walk your dog during the day if you are not available.
